Holiday Prosciutto Wreath

WITH CRANBERRY GLOBES AND BRIE

A Holiday Table to Remember

Create a holiday centerpiece that embodies the beauty of the season with a luxurious presentation of Principe Prosciutto, mini Brie bites, and a festive cranberry centerpiece. The combination of edible elegance and opulent decor creates a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Principe Prosciutto di San Daniele
  • 12-14 Mini Brie Rounds (perfect for single servings)
  • Whole Cranberry Sauce  (homemade or store bought)
  • Thyme Sprigs (for garnish and aromatic appeal)

Preparing the Individual Glasses

  1. Start by spooning a layer of cranberry sauce into the bottom of a stemmed martini glass

  2. Place a small round or wedge of Mini Brie on top of the cranberry sauce, ensuring it sits upright and is visible through the glass.

  3. Fold a slice of Principe Prosciutto into a loose rosette shape by lightly curling it around itself.

  4. Nestle the Prosciutto rosette next to the Mini Brie, ensuring it fans out slightly for an elegant presentation. Repeat with additional slices to create a balanced look around the Brie.

  5. Adjust the layers as needed so that each element—cranberry sauce, Brie, and Prosciutto— is visible and balanced within the glass. The layers should look abundant but not overcrowded. If desired, add a sprig of fresh thyme.

Serve it with Style

The star of this table is the elevated cranberry centerpiece with a Prosciutto wreath.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Gold or bronze table cover

2-3 Bags of Whole Cranberries

1 large and 1 small Glass Fishbowl

Round serving platter, ideally metallic or gold

Martini Glasses

Green Pillar Candles

Holiday greenery, such as evergreen sprigs or eucalyptus.

Glittering ornaments, pinecones, greenery and red flowers or floral accents

How to create the Cranberry Centerpiece with Prosciutto Wreath:

  1. Tablecloth: Start with a bronze or metallic-toned tablecloth, such as ivory, gold, bronze or champagne, to provide a soft backdrop for the vibrant reds and greens.
  2. Fill a large fishbowl with whole fresh cranberries and set a round serving platter on top of it, ideally gold or silver.
  3. Fill a small fishbowl ¾ full with homemade or store bought, whole cranberry sauce. Set this small, filled fishbowl in the center of the round platter, on top of a bed of fresh thyme.
  4. Create a Prosciutto Wreath around the small fishbowl with cranberry and thyme center by placing individual folds of Prosciutto all the way around, covering your platter.
  5. Surround the large fishbowl on the table with lush greenery, such as evergreen sprigs or eucalyptus
  6. Accents:  Tuck in small, glittering ornaments in gold, silver, or red to enhance the festive feel and complement the cranberry’s bold red color. Scatter whole cranberries around the centerpiece to tie the elements together. You can also use cranberries to fill smaller bowls or candleholders for a cohesive look.
  • Add green pillar candles in gold or silver holders around your table to bring a soft, warm glow to the presentation. Place them at varying heights for dimension.
  • Use additional ornaments as table accents, placing them around the martini glasses and amidst tabletop greenery.

This Charcuterie Wreath combines the festive joy of holiday decor with a gourmet spread of Principe Prosciutto, creamy Brie, and cranberries. The vibrant colors, lush greenery, and glittering ornaments create a table that’s both edible and visually stunning, making your holiday gathering one to remember.
