Ingredients

12 slices of Prosciutto di San Daniele

6 Fresh Figs, sliced ¼ inch

4-5 oz Gorgonzola Dolce, room temperature

4 Walnuts, lightly crushed

¼ cup Honey

How To Make

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place the chopped walnuts on a baking sheet and toast for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown.

Allow the walnuts to cool and mix them with the Gorgonzola cheese.

Slice the figs into ¼ inch slices (about 6 slices per fig).

Lay out a slice of Prosciutto, and spread it with a thin layer of the Gorgonzola and walnut mixture.

Place 3 slices of figs on the coated slice of Prosciutto. Roll it into a pinwheel.

Repeat the process with the remaining slices of Prosciutto.

Place in a serving dish and drizzle some honey on top.
